" The FACTS are that his tenure as Governorn and as co-owner of the Texas Rangers are considered successful by all those unaffected with BDS."

Well, if by unaffected with BDS you mean everyone who licks his boots, I suppose you have a point.

Now as to the Rangers. You are right, he did manage to talk Arlington into raising their sales tax to pay for the stadium. He apparently favors tax cuts, unless his own personal money is on the line. And he also managed to talk them into condemning some of the land for less than 20% of the land's value. So he favors private property ownership unless he stands to benefit from a deal. And, finally, he tried to renege on their contract when the owner's of the condemned land sued and won over the value of the land. The team's contract held that if expenses were to go over a certain amount, the team had to pay the difference. When the suit pushed the amount over that threshold, the team refused to pay. Leaving the city to hold the bag.

So, yeah. He was successful at cheating...

He found his calling.
