Thanks for managing the contest. My pick for 2008 is DNT.TO - Candente Resources. They have 80.9 million shares outstanding fully diluted and last traded at $1.91 with listings on the TSX, and in Lima and Frankfurt. As of Sep 30th they had $10.4 million cash and in-the-money options worth $4.8 million if exercised. Their main property is Canariaco which has 8.1 billion lbs of Cu and currently three rigs are drilling. A PAEE is complete and environmental and feasibility studies are underway. A new resource estimate is due shortly. candente.com Their second property is El Oro in Mexico and has gold mineralization. At the end of October DNT announced acquiring another copper porphyry property in Northern Peru.
