"What if there's genocide and terrible suffering in a country?

It's a tragedy, and we can have a moral statement, but you can't use force of arms to invade other countries to make them better people. Our job is to make us a better people.

Kosovo?

Absolutely unjustified."

remember those pictures coming across every night of people and open mass graves. I bet every American was getting upset over the genocide going on and we were doing nothing about it.

I figure the only reason Clinton did something was internal pressure that forced him to use the air force.

This says more about Ron Paul, make a moral statement but do nothing. to compare diplomacy with russians over cuba,, to talking to someone like Iran .. or saddam. or terrorists is a real stretch . Does he forget it really wasn't diplomacy that prevented the cuba bombing rather we were at the point of no return unless they backed down and turkey was a last minute option to save face.

do we get to the point of pushing the button on Iran before someone backs off?
