Generex, based in Toronto, reported in a news release that the technology protected by the patent involves using small synthetic peptides to enhance the stimulation of certain T helper cells, which are a key component of the body’s immune system. Antigen Express is developing vaccine technology, and the company’s technology is being tested in breast cancer patients.
