The Prince of Saud is still way ahead on his investment in Citibank back in 1990 or 1991....

To the defense of the Japanese, they probably did better on US property investments than they did if they bought in Tokyo. It may have been a diversification move and we simply saw the investments that did not work out well.

Clearly their investments in Toyota and Honda have paid off... as GM and Ford hardly look solvent and Chrysler has been passed around like a hot potato.

FWIW, I've added to my Citi shares at $30.15 as the support levels shown last month in the two charts here
