OT I own an 1994 Corvette and think it is a great, reliable car (knock on wood). Of course, I think they moved the whole operation out of Detroit so they could make a good car.... My girlfriend has a 2002 Lexus 300 sedan that I take care of and drive her around in when we are together and I think that is a great car also. I was impressed with the quality in a Suburban I helped a former lady friend get for our ski trips with her kids back in 2000 or so. My 1990 Ford E250 windsurfing van will probably rust out from the salt water before it dies... Both US and Japan can make good cars.. but they cost a bit more.
