My experience, not only best for everyday, but a lifetime of loyalty. When my husband first met me he told me his Mother was Hispanic, not PC back then, but told me she was Mexican to test me to see if it mattered. I thought that might be a fib and was invited to their home for Thanksgiving Dinner and it proved to be one. In return I told him we had insanity in our family to see if it mattered to him. He said "Are you joking with me?" and I told him he'd just have to wait to find out if we had any skeletons in our closets. That was sixty years ago. We both found out our sense of humor was compatible. Our life is just like a bowl of jello being clear, solid and firm. If you can make it through the first thirty years, the next thirty are much easier to accomplish without killing each other. <gg> That is when "Until death do us part" becomes a real reality. Thank you Karen for this enjoyable quote. Brought back some funny memories.
