"It won't be long before Fox overtakes the networks....the only one who is barely tolerable is Brian Williams...."

_____________---

I'm sorry, but that statement is just silly. Fox News is not at its peak of viewership (which took place in 2003) when they were at 3.7 million during their best viewing period. The Networks have slipped more on a percentage basis but when 2 million watch Fox and 10 million watch Brian Williams, and 7 million watch Katie Couric for Pete's sake, there will be no crossover.

Fox has its audience. It works well at what it tries to do and those that like what it provides have found it. It is not going to pick up a great deal more than it has now unless you assume millions of people haven't yet had the choice to watch it. That is not the case. Although more may move to cable or satelite, Fox's current 3-2 advantage over CNN, for example, would indicate those people will watch in a similar proportion.

Brit Hume has a 3-2 lead over Blitzer on "straight" news vs. opinion shows but both pale in comparison to Katie Couric! That won't change for a very, very long time...
