Janice,

You are right! Most stocks can't handle a series of selloffs over a long term. I just think, because of the recent volatility IFCI has been experiencing, that a "one time dump" would drop their price to a level that they may not be able to recover from. Who knows, they may already have an institution ready to scoop those shares up. If I knew for sure, I'd have a lot more money than I do now.
