sounds way too KOOL... as u know y2k sw is largely written in COBOL (yuk), and the problem is now they can't find programmers who know cobol. I never did anything w. cobol. just fortran and some assembly ... mostly scientific (CAD tools) programming. I see no alternatives to sun/unix for many more years. even on some of the larget machines my jobs don't get done over night.
