JFK did not escalate the Vietnam War, he had only 16,000 Green Beret advisors in there and that was working. LBJ did the grand tragic escalation, and LBJ though a democrat was very deeply in bed with Brown + Root, which is now called Halliburton. Small world, huh? Maybe Eisenhower was right. We have more to fear from the Halliburtons of the world than we do our enemies.
