SI BOB, so we can put this to rest can you tell us why you banned David Patch for life from SI.

Technically, Dave banned him. I'm not the Admin here. But any decision he makes, he makes on behalf of the site. I've never even mildly disagreed with a decision of his except for his occasionally giving more latitude than I would/did and the same is true in this instance.

The reason, without going into too deep of detail, is that verbally abusing our Administrators on either site is an express route to the exit and I'm frankly surprised at just how much of it Dave put up with (there was a dialog outside the public messages here) before yanking the plug. He really does have a long fuse. I would've personally booted him much sooner.
