Wade, step back and think. I provide sources for every piece of data or if challenged will provide the source. The longs just insult me, say I'm wrong and rarely provide a source. I do not claim to be 100% correct. But who should people trust? Well, IMO, no one! Everyone should do their own research and follow up on the sources provided, of course, the longs rarely provide sources.

1) Why do you (and other longs) feel the need to insult me? Correct me if I'm wrong (with sources please). Debate the issues if they are not clear ... but insults?

2) IMO, it is disingenuous to say that programmers never touch the code. Sure, they only change the code THAT changes the code ... and that is perhaps even more dangerous.

3) The estimate of $1 per LOC has been referenced several times. A quick scan reveals this source (admittedly de Jager, not Gartner): cnet.com

4) Zitel is quoting $0.50 per LOC. Mr. King made this clear in the last conference call. He did not state what the charge covered - and it probably does not include the assessment phase.

5) MD has between 25 and 30 employees. I visited MD last week. What makes you think they have 100 employees?
