As for "liberals" being brainwashed? By who? We don't have an echo chamber propaganda media machine the way the rightwing does, or the Christian right does. Our voices are very diverse and range from far left to conservative. We are pragmatists and try to use common sense honest solutions. We actually care about people, nature and our fiscal future. We actually care when people lose their jobs or don't have health care. We actually care about our troops dying for lies in Iraq and Vietnam. And we absolutely detest corrupt politicians as well as fascist wannabes who tell us we're not patriotic because we don't back the latest corrupt war or war-mongering attempt by the military-industrial far right.

I was listening to Air America this morning. It is maybe 2% of what Limbaugh-Hannity-O'Reilly-Savage-Ingraham etc are. And not only don't they try to brainwash but they allow far rightwing experts to come on and debate. They're not even rude to them. They don't cut them off or call them names.

Ambassador Bolten was on the other day and Air America let him have all the time he wanted to explain why Iran really did have nukes and our 16 intelligence agencies had becomes infiltrated with democrats, or whatever the lie was.

When was the last time Hannity or Limbaugh allowed a democrat to get a word in edgewise? Huge difference. You are the brainwashed ones because you rarely hear the truth. And your rightwing media is right out of Goebbels playbook. Repeat the big lies enough times and people believe them. That's Rovian rightwing media brainwashing in a nutshell. Worked for the Nazis and it worked for awhile for the American rightwing. In fact a new poll shows that only 16% of Americans believe the Iranian nuclear program is stopped despite all 16 of of intelligence agencies telling us it's happened. Proof the rightwing echo chamber has people deluded and disinformed. Just like the Soviets and Nazis did.
