That VTI chart is correct.(It is just history)

But maybe Bob Brinker was wrong.

As far as QQQ, I have nothing more to say on QQQ.
because QQQ = 100 stocks that change over time.
5 are changing soon.

BUT VTI is much harder to change. IMHO.
