yeah we know what its about and the point is, CA wants to do things their way, we don't like Bush and anything Bush stands for, this is statewide and we have had higher cafe standards for years. Even our republican governor is ready to kill the chimp, republicans are dead for years now so its hard to see what bush gains from this, and now CA will go forward with the alternative waiver program for anybody that buys a fuel efficient car which will have the same result (basically tax people who drive gas guzzlers).

We have a bunch of electric car startups in CA and personally I wouldnt mind cutting off detroit from this state and selling only toyota and Tesla/Electric. Thats what most of the state wants.

Red states, detroit and Bush overstate their importance.

There is a huge waiting list for Tesla's, my boss a SR VP at Cisco drives a Prius and nobody really cares if BMWs and Mercedes go goodbye, but I doubt they will, because unlike detroit they can adapt.
