I have read there is a subset of folks like yourself who are waiting for everything to fall apart. No doubt, most of the stuff around us IS corrupt and run by weasels but...every morning when I use indoor plumbing and have a hot shower I am grateful for technology at whatever level and do not look forward to its demise. It's unfortunate that the people who are least deserving of comfort will probably be those who are able to maintain it the longest.
