Did they mention by name any Taiwan company that's losing money? ( I don't bother with the WSJ, but do subscribe to IBD.) For the widest, most timely, and most reliable news on the semi industry, the web is the place to be. The WSJ have often been accused of being in bed with the shorts. TSMC recently announced record revenues and rising profits. All the Taiwan foundries are booked solid through the end of the year, as reported 3 or 4 months ago.
