What do you hear from Miss Smithee in Denver? She's enjoyed the work at the hotel, and has learned quite a bit about the computer systems and such. She got quite homesick on Wednesday. Not used to staying in a hotel for a week and not being surrounded by other 19 year-olds. I guess she's not cut out to be a Road Warrior. As one who used to travel frequently in my DOJ days, I can say it can be boring eating alone in restaurants and then going back to the hotel room for any length of time. She worked evenings yesterday and again today, and says that the evening crew is more her age and more fun to be around. We moved her departure up to Saturday as she wants to be home now to get ready for Christmas. MY BIL hopefully can take her to the airport in the am. I would not think 2-3" of snow in Denver would cause much of a stir.
