Neo, you have misunderstood my point and going into intricate detail about the summer/winter CO2 cycle is irrelevant. My point was that the rate at which plants gobble CO2 when they are in growth mode is shown in the annual drop in CO2.

BS. Your point was that plants gobble CO2 AND this somehow implies (in your view, which ignores the details) that they could gobble down the human increment of CO2 accumulated in the atmosphere at about an equal rate. Nonsense.

THERE IS NO LINK BETWEEN THE RATE OF INCREASE OR DECREASE SEEN IN THE ANNUAL CYCLE AND THE RATE OF INCREASE OR DECREASE OF THE LONGER TERM TREND.
