Actually that's pretty much true (though not so much in Charles' and my own case since we were helped much more than hurt by McNealy): they transferred--not "earned"--the wealth up from the bottom of the pyramid, now let them transfer some of it back down to help minimize the number of people living and dying in the streets.

You can look at it in either of two ways if you've written a few 7 or 8 figure checks to the IRS: a) That the IRS is the thievin' bureaucratic representative of a bunch of lazy lowlives who don't have what it takes to make it on their own and therefore deprive you of the wealth that your sterling character and indefatigable work ethic have rightfully earned you, or b) That YOU are either some kind of scammer or an extremely lucky SOB who grabbed a brass ring worth far more than you deserve, very probably by accident of birth.

Not a tough call for anybody who's honest.
