Think about this. If Huckabee actually became President and was only even moderately successful after Bush, he could completely redefine the Republican party. From his record in Arkansas, he seems to genuinely care for the poor and disadvantaged, and isn't shy of raising taxes to help them. He might reach across the aisle and use (D) majorities in congress to do that - a reverse Clinton.

The power/money (R)'s might flee to (D) candidates like Hillary.
