I also get tired of being labeled a "basher" by those who devote a lot of time to "bashing" anyone who is willing to write about Bob Brinker's mistakes as well as giving him credit for the good things he does. . But that does not excuse the fact that he advertises his performance record based on incomplete and deceptive information--information that he and many of his devotees' would rather be covered up and forgotten. , I have said many times that he was correct to be 100% bullish from 1991 to 2000--and he has been right to be fully invested from March 2003. I also give him credit for teaching listeners that they can become their own financial advisors and avoid shark attacks. I was one of his students that profited from that guidance. Brinker might even say he taught me too well because now I largely view him as one of the sharks that he taught me to recognize. 8^) .
