Some years ago I recall reading an article by Ben Viljoen, primary man out at Mineral Ridge, and at the time I believe Esmeralda County commissioner. In that article he described some of the history of Mineral Ridge and the fact that I believe around the turn of the century very high grade lenses were mined out at the property....so the potential does exist. Now understand that the only reference point to date for that 26 opt figure was from a fairly well respected newsletter writer....but still would you honestly put your faith in some newsletter writer, rather than what you can read here on the Bull Boards, from people that have been there and spoken with the men who make the company run...and can spell their names?
