CR: One data point doesn't make a trend, but I thought it was a pretty amazing data point for those tracking the NYC area. Wife and I went to a very popular local eatery last night after watching I am Legend (which by the way is awesome). Usually on a Saturday night, I have had waits of 60-90 minutes at ANY place in the area on Friday and Saturday nights. Last night at 7pm the wait was 15-30 minutes...I found it even more amazing given it is the biggest shopping days of the year and this place is near the local mall. Wife and I were shocked to say the least.
