How many market participants wed to the new game theory market does this single summary neutralize? I would suggest most. I got banned from the eSignal forum for pointing out inconvenient truths about how QCharts 6.0.x is doomed to failure. My criticism has partially to do with traders demanding a lot of silly user functions that bloat the .exe. They're convinced that moving averages of price predicts price(all technical analysis tools are mathematically equivalent to some form of averaging). But, they ought not look at a chart of 10,000 coin tosses. A MACD of that process reliably tells you when another run is about to start or end! The forum inquisitors would tell you that they didn't like the way I was calling them baboons, not that I was calling them baboons. If you check it, you would say that I was exceedingly mild in comparison to the way I usually deliver. The real issue behind their hokum though is the fact I've challenged their implementation model. I got them dead to rights and they know it, and, what they're doing will cause the program to fail. They have no choice but to change it. I've offered ways to do that. They did not investigate my input. In the rest of your post you can replace "game theory" with "technical analysis". Hope that doesn't grate on you too, too much. I know at least 1 guy (in 100) who has been successfully using TA for decades and has actually built up $50Gs! You don't want to know about the other 99. Nowhere along the way did the successful guy have any confidence in what he was doing. I mean, like, how can one expect to extract information from a source which has no information? This is the essence of the matter that has to be understood.
