Are you suggesting that our minimum wage, a paltry $12000 a year is too high and needs to be lowered...

Do you believe in free market forces?

I am saying the increases are artificial and done for personal political gain.

If you focus solely on the USA you account for a mere 5% of the world population. Lots of folks around the world, far more than our 300 million, work for less than 10% of that $12000 and are glad to have the job. Someday, somehow, I believe this will balance itself out and I believe we are seeing it begin to happen now.

Competition drives value and profit. Manuafacturing has to go where it is least expensive. If they don't, they can't compete.

Our US Based textile and furniture manufacturing is in a shambles.

My question now is how much longer before the Chinese put Detroit of business?

I would also ask if Burger King employees eat at McDonald's and McDonald's employees eat at Burger King will that suffice to grow our economy to keep up with our projected population increases?
