I beleive the process is the real win here. Without an economical method of recovery there really isn't any reason for excitment.

As an observation in general to those this week commenting on other Naxos type opportunities in this area, my research has shown the following:

There are a number of deeds registered thru the BLM and Bureau of Mines. Some of these deeds go back generations, some are family owned...most are corporate registered...the majority have been rolled into the BLM properties when they were aquired (what a surprise!).

There was a question as to land claims near Franklin Lake...I believe in general that most California strikes have been deep strikes rather than long linear srtikes, so that claims nearby (miles away etc.) may not have any value. The interesting thing about Franklin Lake is that it is not a typical California gold model. I believe one gentlemen on another post described it correctly when alluding to volcanic fissuring. However I do not agree with his hypothisis of gold effluent flowing throughout this region. The activity in this region was probably violent by geologically shortlived.

An interesting thing is that this area was mined aggressively early on this century, although I could find no parcels claims within the Naxos boundaries..I still have been unable to locate the actual deed claims and filing when Naxos aquired the property...if anyone could shed some light on this I would be grateful. I am interested in when the land was aquired by Naxos so that I may validate the timeline when this new extration process was derived. It would be interesting to see how far ahead of the annoucement that the property was aquired.

Regards
