Thank you Pat for the information. I have experienced bladder infections in the past... where I have had pain and bleeding. This infection never had any symptoms except that I was feeling a general malaise during the whole trip. However, having ones traveling companions leave the first night one with a heart attack was very upsetting. AND being robbed was very upsetting so I blamed my not feeling up to par on stress. The first symptoms were a fever that ate me up going higher each day. AND sapping all my energy and strength... After finishing that Cipro which ripped apart my gut I learned I have a viral cold in the throat and chest. This is what has me down now. But not out. Thank you for your contributions to this thread.
