Impressive to me is that on average these select stocks were down-15.3%

while the XAU Index rose 19.5%

the HUI Index rose 17.3%

GLD rose 26.8%

and SLV rose 12.4%

Playing these stocks is jut like going to the roulette table. Occasionally you win big, but on average you lose.

Edit just noticed onepath's post so I apologize for any duplication. The point is obvious however IMO.
