Can you take an extra day or two on your way between your old and your new home? You will have plenty to do when you get to the new place, and so make it a relaxing trip on the way. We've found Marriott is a nice place to stay, and the rates are generally pretty reasonable....not cheap, but reasonable.... Good Wishes on your new venture!
