It is better killing them in bunches without sacrificing young Americans. Did you get the Rules of engagement that the author listed? "Can't shoot until shot at." "Can't shoot with no weapon in his hand." The article talked about how the enemy knew exactly what the troops can and can't do and taunts them. Absolute nonsense. When they had fire coming from that house that a 500LB bomb wouldn't take out they should have had a B-52 overhead with a 1000LB JADAM one. You tell the Tribal chiefs that things have changed and if they don't run these people off we will bomb them where ever we find them. And it's on their heads. Again, a war run by the Lawyers, not the Warriors.
