darrell,

first of all, i'm not shorting the stock, i want iom to go up as much as anybody long or near on the stock does. fundamentals...blah,blah...i'm more interested in the daily and weekly movement of iom and the volume that accompanies the movement. as long as iom continues to make money the stock will go up. this of course is fundamentals but what i'm trying to say is that fundamentals only matter in years, not months or weeks. good or bad news only affects iom (in the short run, like that day or week) the way the specialist wants it to. i agree with you that fundamentals aren't as important as you say "engineering", i call it specialist manipulation however. iom fell for nearly a year, despite news that should have keep the stock afloat. there is no way for me to prove the market is fixed and there is no way to prove that it isn't, i just think people need to be more objective. but when there is money involve, well...money is the root of all evil.
