Not really Mike. I wonder how different the combined EU numbers are compared to the way the total of EU states matched up against the US 10, 20, 30 years out. There is efficiency in size up to a point and they start from a lower base post WW2. The more the merrier i say. I want the world rich because rich should mean less of a chance for war.
Will china put it all on the line to take over Taiwan?
Will Russia become the USSR again and try to sieze its old empire back?
Will india try harder to avoid conflicts with Pakistana and hopefully visa versa?
This wealth idea even applies to a country like iran which might in the future be using a combo of the russian and china models going forward to promote growth?
