Wal mart does improve the standard of living for the community. on average i believe the numbers are like savings of close to $2000 a year if they shop groceries in addition to dry goods at wal mart. that is quite a bit of spendable income in savings.

If the walmart stuff is 10% cheaper - that means with a saving of 2,000 per year people are spending 20,000 a year at WalMart. Good grief, there isn't 20,000 dollars worth of stuff there i would want if it is free! I go there maybe once every six months for chain saw bar oil.
