i doubt the walmart employee who can perform remains at there but moves onto higher paying jobs once they have achieve some work skills.

of paying less achieves a better standard of living. paying less to sell stocks through stock brokers for example. we used pay up to $120 a trade now $5. some are free each month for first thirty trades. lower income tax brackets improves standard of living for lower income. child credits, larger personal exemptions. competition , for other products.. on line shopping and avoiding sales tax, free shipping, avoids tax, and gasoline and time in stores. been shopping on line for 12 years.

if every millionaire only paid relative to what they earn.. wonder why minimum tax was put in by congress. what did buffett pay in taxes this year . less than his employees his rate was so low.
