I couldn't agree more. BUT The fair tax is not a value added tax. Please read the links I posted. The fair tax is a sales tax on Finished goods and services only. It is easily tracked. The tax paid is the actual tax rate - It is that simple. This is probably the most common mistake. People just assume it is a VAT but it couldn't be further from it. Instead of being buried into the final cost it is simply added at the end. Please, please go back and read what I provided. If passed this legislation could make America great again! Brian
