michael the point i am trying to make is that what we think to be true or false must be put into context with our changing needs and desires.

what is seen as evil today may well be seen as vital tommorrow.

at the birth of our country the rest of the world considered democracy an evil that must be eradicated...a threat to the natural order of things...something little better than a cancer at the heart of humanity....something little different from how we view islamofascism today.

today democracy it is seen as the ultimate political goal..

its not the theory that has changed..... it is mans way of thinking that has changed.

many fail to realize that man nature is fickeled like a feather in the wind.

ps that is also what most miss in economics.

human nature is not a constant ...yet in our calculations we assume it is.
