TJ, the apparent conflict in your ideology is because you do not intend universality. The freedom of travel is for you and yours. The shooting in the back is for others. You didn't even want a passport to interfere with your movement.

You people should make up your minds and not talk out of both sides of your mouth. Perhaps if your left hand holds your right hand, they would develop a coherent ideology.

As to CB, it did seem that your accusation of "prime evil" didn't refer to "trust" any more than Osama, Al Qaeda and Islamic Jihad are attacking the USA because "they hate our freedom". There are many countries with "freedom" [a false claim for the USA or any other country to make though some are less repressive and thieving than others] but they do not attract the ire of Osama.

I suspect more of the anger is because Saudi Arabia, the bin Ladens, the Bushes and others are "friends" sharing in oil cash flow and Osama is not [or only tangentially so - I'm sure he must be slipped plenty of cash flow to keep Jihad on track].

Trust and freedom are nice.
