Interesting data from the math of the market department.

Yesterday the Nazdaq announced for the 14-Dec Reporting period, Short open interest at 8,280,539,309

FYI Naz composite share vol for all trading days from Dec 3rd to Dec 14th the same period as the Naz Short data
20,899,658,889

SOI as a % of all trade volume month to date 40%

Within the context of the data above, the Days to cover number as offered up in the Naz Press release is woefully wrong.

The data actually show the same drop in volume moving averages as MM1 and MM2 have shown since Sept.( MM1 and MM2 are a private series of data I use for tracking the larger trade)

When all is said and done, its pretty clear that this market is Sold Out. That there are continuing attempts to distract folks from discoveries that these data indicate.

The market has a math of its own, its base lined to the gross legal authorized shares outstanding of all public companies.

We all know; that the Markets gross float does not reflect its Free float.

The markets free float can best be described as those shares which might appear on any given day, with respect for the holders of said shares manifesting private intent, and any and all legal restrictions which may apply to a class of ownership such as 144 shares.

We'll have more on this soon.
