Goldwater was an honest conservative. Something almost extinct within the corrupt Bush GOP. You know it and I know it. Everyone knows it, which is why on the religious side, Huckabee is so popular, and on the other side the GOP isn't happy with any of the candidates because they all drank the Bushie koolaid. McCain is the closest to being halfway honest and he's surging now too.

The most fiscally conservative group in the US are now progressive democrats. We really do want to pay as we go. But if Bush had to do that he'd have to tax you $40,000 to pay for his disaster in Iraq alone. Did you know the Iraq occupation debt will be at least $10,000 per US citizen? SO if you're a family of four that's $40,000.

If that doesn't make you sick and angry, consider this, much of that trillion+ bucks has been stolen by Bushie corporate cronies. Then tack on the oil-gas gouging and you really have a humungus crime, maybe the biggest ripoff in world history. That's right, Bushies are crooks. Totally unlike Goldwater who was an honest man who believed in in honest efficient smaller government and an open honest discussion of issues.
