FDR did pull the US out of the GOP-caused Great Depression, and how did he do it? By taking care of the poor and downtrodden, sharing and sharing alike and establishing great social (even communist style) programs which bypassed the greed and power of his own class of people, the super moneyed rich robber baron types, and took the wealth and opportunity directly to the working people of this country. That move was by and large responsible for establishing and uplifting the great Middleclass of this country and eventually creating the greatest economy in modern history, which is now unraveling as we speak.
The rightwing hates what FDR did and have been trying to un-do it ever since, but let's be honest. It saved millions and millions of Americans from stark poverty and even starvation and did our country and the vast majority of its people great-great good.
And let's always remember who caused the Great Depression, the greedy, selfish, dishonest, elite corporate Wall Street tycoon class, the dark side of capitalism. And we see the same gang in charge today surrounding Bush-Cheney, Romney and Guiliani.
These are the traitors who only care about themselves and no one else. They are poor Americans, poor Christians and often just plain crooks. So in 2008 let's all pledge that we will rid our country of these Bushie tyrants, thieves, liars and cheats. They have already done us tremendous damage, but the sooner we get rid of them, and I mean permanently, the sooner we can begin the healing process, which will take a long-long time but is absolutely necessary if we care about our country. |
