In fact, by the late 1930s, the GDP had recovered to pre-Crash levels. en.wikipedia.org Now, unemployment was still high. While total jobs had recovered to 1929 levels, population growth meant that the rate was still high. en.wikipedia.org Now, do you have different "facts"?
