Make it just as good "a physical barrier to convection" as your greenhouse. Then stick a thermometer inside and see if it heats itself and see if in fact your claim has any merit. You are clueless about cause and effect.

Use a conductive material, such as sheet metal, and paint it black and it would work about as well as a greenhouse.
