McCain has more than just the McCain Feingold Incumbent Protection Act to be ashamed of. He criticizes Republicans too often, and chooses public venues so that the liberal media will pick it up and amplify the dissention among the Republican ranks. I admire him for his military service. I respect him for his consistency in support of freedom around the world while so many claim to have supported it and now ditch that support to curry favor with the lunatic leftwingers. These are hardly a foundation for my support for him as a Presidential candidate. Remember that the leftwing media have an agenda to derail any moderate conservative candidates so that Republicans are left with either liberals or unelectably conservative nominees. Look what 8 years of a fiscal liberal has done to derail any fiscal prudence. At least he restored some dignity to the military. At least President Bush is a leader. The poll of the day guy before him certainly left the nation in a mess.
