JAG.to...just a no brainer at this price. 400% production growth in the next 4 years but they will more likely get bought out in 2008 for a 50%+ gain from here. Great value and very low risk, IMO.
MTO.v... will be in production any day now and all our patience will be rewarded. I think it doubles in 2008 even if gold is flat.
PEZ.v..... 43-101 coming on the Baja project hopefully by the end of Q1. They are cashed up and will be proving lots more ounces. Several other promising projects.
SCM.v.....Claude likes this one a lot and I do too. Only 26 million shares out fully diluted and plenty of cash. Results expected in Q1 on two very promising projects. Still a crap shoot but enough results in hand to make this a lower risk drill play with tons of potential upside.
GOZ.v.... I really think GOZ.v will be a second half of 2008 story. This is a great project and I think the progress will continue to be slow but steady. They are going to do a lot of step out drilling in 2008 and will increase the size of the resource. They will start with around 400 tons a day from underground and blend that with the stockpile low grade ore. Q1 should see the engineering study complete and the 43-101. By Q3 they will have added a second stoping drill and hopefully by year's end 2008 they will be doing 1200 to 1500 tons a day from underground and exit 2008 at a production rate around 50,000 to 60,000 ounces au. and have proved up a mine life in excess of 6 years. If they can execute on all that ( I think they can ), with gold at $800.00usd per ounce I think GOZ.v can be 2.50cdn+ per share.
As always, do your own DD.
Good luck to everyone, Merry Christmas and here is wishing for a fantastic 2008 for all of us who have had patience and conviction. Andrew

With their exploration success, plans to build a 350t/day mill, and metal prices at today’s level, 2008 should bring a sizable appreciation to the share price.
VIT – is one of the largest landholder with a number of well chosen properties in the Nevada gold belt, The 10 member exploration team led by Dr Raul Madrid is well on its way to reveal ‘Victoria’s Secret’ in this upcoming year.
SXL – the co’s Nash Creek Project in New Brunswick slowly shaping up to be a potentially ten year 3000t/day open-pit mineable resource. @ $.15, I believe the share price has substantial room to grow in the upcoming year
UNR – with a large land position in a number of prospective areas, this one is just as good of a uranium spec play as any for 2008.
RSG – after the announced Canadian asset spin off, the co will focus on their African properties. If feasible, the co’s ~25% share of the Bakoudou-Magnima Gold Project JV with Managem should provide sufficient cash flow for some serious follow up work on their Mandiana project.
Cheers! Sandor
============================================== Posted: Wed Dec 26, 2007 11:49 am Post subject: Hi All,
Just to be a bit different, here are my TOP 5 as well as honorable mention stocks to watch:
1. NGG-v. New Guinea Gold is currently a start-up producer, looking to have a steady 3,000 ounces per month starting some time in 2008 (just remember, everything takes longer than you think it will). The company may well be one of the lower-cost producers with a cost of $183 per oz. (that's according to Jay Taylor).
2. GCU-v. I have visited their resource site and was impressed. This is Gallium which is highly valued by the Japanese electronics and solar panel industries. In short, this is a much-have commodity for the Japanese. To get a mine up and running will take around $30 million dollars, so the start-up cost is moderate. If and when the company takes the next step forward, this thing will fly!!
3. GOZ-v. I think Swannmex pretty well outlined the potential in this Sweden-based existing mine. Once this company starts actual production with a decent number of ounces per month, GOZ-v could well be a highflyer in my PF.
4. SMD-v. An exploration company that is PROFITABLE!! Go figure!!! Check them out and I guarantee that you'll like what you see.
5. SRI-v. These guys are extracting u308 from the fly-ash from coal-burning power generating plants in China. Just think of China as follows: a) they have lots and lots of coal (the dirty burning kind that generates oodles of pollution); b) they will be commissioning quite a number of nuclear plants in the future in order to clean up the air pollution as created in a); c) Nuclear plants need.... u308. It may take longer than 2008 for this company to start moving, but at the current price the company is a bargoon!!
HONORABLE MENTIONS
1. Diversify your portfolio by buying Bullion or Bullion products. E-Bay is one of the prime sources to investigate. Just search "gold" under "Coins and Paper Money". Maybe buy a "Coins & Prices" book to get familiar with values. If you're buying coins for their gold content (as I do) be ready to not win many before you're successful. Stick with your guns.
2. Honorable mention of companies that are worth doing some DD on (these are currently in my PF): BRD-v, MPS-v, CHX-v, ECU-t, VAN-v.
Good luck all in 2008.

A fine project headed towards (increased) production with the real likelihood of increasing reserves along with increasing bullion prices. Ya gotta love it. Toss in a very capable management team and a politially friendly environment, and it looks good from my view.
With all due respect to swannmex's target of $2.50+, I find that a bit conservative and will set the bar higher, near a target of $4.25 this time next year.
Here's hoping for a great '08, whatever you've chosen.
