Yet, the United States ranks 38th in longevity for its citizens. More than 4 years less life, on average, than Japan. ALL of the other countries ranked above us have national health care. Our medical system does not work and capitalism does not work for delivering health services. These numbers make the bragging that we have the best system in the world an international joke. We have the best system for the wealthy. The rest of us push up daisies.
