I just returned from Texas. The Republicans I met at the various Christmas parties seemed to all support Hillary Clinton. I am for Edwards, but this is a good sign. Not a single one of them defended Bush. Even one ultra conservative I debated said nothing when I blasted Bush's economics as being anything but conservative.

And we are talking Houston here, Bush Houston, Christian Houston, white upperclass Houston. Bush's base. Including a few who worked for Halliburton and Carlyle Group. Not a single one of them supports Bush anymore. Zero.

So if even these smart Texas Republicans have seen the light, why won't you? Because you are a fascist or love crooked politicians? Because you hate The Constitution and what the USA was founded upon? Or just because you are brainwashed by rightwing smear campaigns and propaganda? Or all of the above?
