thanks good info. I read somewhere that 05 is going off support. What that means, when 05 goes off support is you can't upload into turbotax.

I learned that the hard way a few years ago when I was on an old version and was late doing my taxes - my quicken was too old to upload to TT and I had to enter it myself. I don't think we are near that yet with 05, but my guess is for next years taxes 05 won't work anymore.

I totally agree with you about the bloat. They need a better UE person to work on their online product too. Online quicken could be a good thing to have esp if you are a business traveller. But their version is so cumbersome to use it is hardly worth it.
