Lizzie,

I too think that Intuit will discontinue Q05 service when they announce the '09 version of Quicken. I've tried Microsoft's Money program a few times, but if I remember correctly it didn't report the IRR of one's investments or total portfolio. In my case, I need to have the IRR in order to determine how well, or bad, I'm doing.

I thought about using online data storage sites, including Intuits. But, I'm concerned about privacy and security. I would appreciate your thoughts on this subject.

I just installed Q05 on my notebook and it went in faster than my desktop. However, my desktop is somewhat older. It has a Pentium 4 and my notebook has the Quad 2.

If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate in contacting me. If you wish, you can PM me.

Take care...
